Hills produces guava puree concentrate from creamy white fleshed variety
grown in tropical regions of North India. Faint brown spot covering
the skin of the guava is preferred for guava puree concentrate. Guava
puree concentrate is manufactured through an exhaustive process where
the fruits are first inspected, washed, blanched where all the oxidative
enzymes gets inactivated; after blanching, the residue passes through
screw paddle where maximum pulp is obtained.
Good rich quality pulp
is heated and blended for a suitable time at a resistant temperature.
The processed guava puree concentrate is then packed in aseptic bag/drums
using a polyliner.
Guava Puree can be broadly used to make candies, preserves,
jellies, jams, marmalades, juices, nectars, baby food, beverages,
ice-cream, sauces, snacks, and cereal bars. Tropical and sub
tropical guava fruit contains powerful antioxidant and anti- inflammatory
agent.
Deaerated hygienic guava puree concentrate has better
shelf life as it can retain even a small amount of ascorbic acid
in it. We export processed guava puree concentrate that has maximum
quality and quantity of organic pulp.
