Inspired from nature’s purity and freshness, the company originated at the foothills of Shimla, often referred to as the "Queen of Hills” and thus got it name as “Shimla Hills”.
The company started with the export of ‘Himachal Apples’ as one of their foremost products. In 2007, Shimla Hills acquired passion fruit plants situated at Mao and Mizoram and thereafter became the only manufacturers of passionfruit from India. Gradually and steadily company added tropical fruits and vegetables into its product portfolio.
Today, the company has established itself as one of the prime suppliers, manufacturers and exporters of processed fruit products like fruit juices, pulp & purees, concentrates, fresh and frozen IQF, across the world for fruits like Mango, Guava, papaya, Pomegranate, Banana and many more. With its focus on processed fruit products, canned fruit products and aseptically packaged fruit products, the company has linked India’s top fruit hubs to the global industry. Shimla Hills brings aims at bringing the nature’s best by striking a right balance of what nature offers and what state-of-the-art technology supports.
Today with the strong clientele of more than 200 customers on our list from overseas markets in the Middle East, South East Asia, Africa, South America and more, the company aims at expanding its export network all over the world.
We have also achieved one of its kind strong backward integration and large captive farming of organic and normal fruits, to ensure year round fruit supplies to our plants, resulting in continuous processing while maintaining the best quality norms. Shimla Hills is committed to growing organically through the innovation of its current products and through acquisitions.
Having a ‘Culture towards Quality’, the company maintains high degree of hygiene and cleanliness at its all manufacturing sites and storage units. All products coming from its plants, comply with the best quality and safety regulations. It thus acknowledge its customer’s sensitivities and appreciation towards QUALITY and SAFETY. Excellent integrated system of logistic management, shipment & input traceability, online tracking of fruits and shipments allows more efficient and responsive business.
