In Indian mythology Idols form a very major part of our temples or Puja Ghars. We Indians believe that the lord has many forms all of which we depict through their Idols. Goddess Durga is considered to be the creator and protector of life. We have an idol of Shakti Devi, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. She is worshiped in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh especially in Chamba.
