Consolidating our cashew operations at Kollam, Kerela

Last year, this time of the year we were busy initialising our cashew export unit at Kollam, Kerala. Kollam has been approved by the Central Government as "the Centre of Cashew Industry" and has adequately provided us strategic advantages for our cashew business. With Kollam unit, we got an edge on local sourcing of cashews, which in turn helped us mitigate the risks involved with price fluctuations and also ensured consistency in quality. Our Managing Director, Mr. Harish Gupta was on a two-day visit to Kollam to oversee the operations there and motivate the team to gear up for the upcoming season.

Over the last one year, we have been strengthening our market reach and building a robust network of cashew suppliers. Our three stage vendor gating process ensures only the best suppliers get associated with us. Having established our supplier base in Kerala (Kollam) adequately, we are now moving to Karnataka. Mangalore seems to be a promising location for extending our cashew sourcing base. With the harvest season approaching, our team is looking at consolidating our current operations, to meet the current requirements of our customers. At the same time, for meeting the enhanced demand, our work at Mangalore is well in progress. We'll keep you posted on the latest developments.
